SECL tenders 40 MW solar for self-consumption
Domestic bids are invited to install a 40 MW solar power plant for captive consumption by South Eastern Coalfields Limited. The plant shall come up SECL land in the Surajpur District of Chhattisgarh. Bidding closes on October 15.
Coal Lignite Urja Vikas Private Limited, a joint venture of Coal India Ltd and NLC India Ltd, has invited domestic bids to set up a 40 MW (AC) ground-mounted, grid-connected solar project for South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) in Chhattisgarh State.
The solar plant shall come up at SECL land in Bishrampur and Bhatgaon of the Surajpur District, for captive use by SECL under open access.
The scope of work includes site study, site development, design, engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of the plant with associated power evacuation system including grid connectivity, and operation and maintenance for 10 years.
“The capacity rating of the individual module should not be less than 340 Wp for polycrystalline monofacial modules and 380 Wp for the other technology modules,” as per the tender document.
