EPC contractors can now submit bids until May 8 to set up 300 MW of solar capacity in the Ramagiri district.

Solar Energy Corp. of India Ltd (SECI) has extended bidding for 300 MW of ground-mount solar power projects in Andhra Pradesh by two weeks.

The revised bidding deadline is now May 8.

SECI had tendered installation of the 300 MW (AC) ground-mounted solar capacity in the Ramagiri district on a turnkey basis. The capacity is tendered under the second phase of the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme.

The successful bidder’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply (except PV modules), construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar project. It will also provide five-year operation and maintenance support for the plant.

“Supply of modules at the project site is under the owner’s scope,” reads the tender document. The owner shall deliver PV modules with minimum 540 Wp power rating and minimum efficiency of 21%.
